(9/7/2024) Wisconsin health officials have recalled eggs following a salmonella outbreak affecting 65 people across nine states, with the source traced back to a Wisconsin farm.
According to a statement released by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on Friday, 42 of the affected individuals are in Wisconsin, where the contaminated eggs were likely sold.
“The eggs were distributed in Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan through retail stores and food service distributors,” the department said. “The recall includes all egg types such as conventional cage-free, organic, and non-GMO, carton sizes, and expiration dates in containers labeled with ‘Milo’s Poultry Farms’ or ‘Tony’s Fresh Market.’”
